Question by Game lover: Does the virgin mobile LG rumor touch take videos?
Can the virgin mobile version of the LG rumor touch take or watch videos? And how is the camera on it? I know the cameras on both the X-tc and Rumor 2 are crappy so i want to know if the rumor touch is better.

Yes the Virgin LG Rumor Touch takes videos & yes you can watch videos on it too but video playback quality is really not so great. The cam is a 2.0 mp and is not bad in well lit situations. The touch screen is so so but I do love the new Hello UI you can use for contacts that I just figured out how to setup & use.

Virgin’s version does not come with a micro SD card so you will have to purchase one in order to use the music player or the music, video & picture transfer to or from your PC features but thankfully the micro USB cable is included with the phone though you still need the MSD card to use it, go figure?

I purchased one just days ago from BB when it went on sale for 0 and it’s a lot nicer + well built phone than I expected. The dummy demo’s on display are cheaper feeling than the actual real phone it’s self. So far I love it, calls are loud and clear + texting is a breeze, the google maps app with GPS really rocks! And for a 3G/unlimited text/web/data + 1200 minutes is a great no contract monthly plan!

I just bought the Rumor Touch from Virgin Mobile and so does it have the changing themes? I know the Sprint version has it but does the Virgin Mobile type have it? Can I download the themes off the Sprint website and transfer it on my phone somehow?

The changing themes isn’t for the actual screen, it’s only for the Hello UI that you can access by pressing the phone button. Up in the top right there should be a button for settings. Click on that, and you can choose to use the themes. It changes by the season.

Slight Problem With My Lg Rumor (a.k.a Scoop) ?

This might be long, and boring for you to read, but I’d really appreciate if you would read it and help me.
Friday the 18th of August 2008 I bought an LG Scoop ( Lg rumor). I got it free with a three (3) year plan. My carrier is Virgin Mobile. NOT ALLTEL. It did not come with an SD card so I went out and bought one, so I could put my Music, photos, and other things on it. I added all my music and some pictures, to find I could not use music as my ring tone, or my pictures as my wallpaper. The pictures I take with the intergraded camera can be assigned as wallpaper. So I was forced to take pictures of the pictures I wanted as wallpaper.
I know using your own music and your own pictures is possible because my brother is with Virgin Mobile and he can do it.
So how do I do this?
Please be descriptive.

Virgin Mobile Rumor 2?

So I’m looking to get a new cell phone, and I have my eye on the “Rumor 2″ from virgin mobile, but I had some questions first…
1.) Is the camera good? Like are the pictures nice and clear?
2.) What are the themes for this phone? (I know there’s red, but what other colors?
